Motorcycle Insurance

Motorcycle riders in Mississippi must maintain the same minimum level of auto insurance coverage that every other motorist is required to as well. Riders must have insurance policies that cover $25,000 of bodily injury expenses that result from their actions. They must also have a plan that covers $50,000 worth of all injury expenses incurred in one accident. Riders must also carry $10,000 worth of coverage to cover any damage they may cause to another individual's personal property. Most riders, or motorists in general, carry higher levels of coverage to avoid legal disputes. With a higher level of coverage, riders can cover most, if not all, of the expenses related to property damage and bodily injury.
