CDL Insurance

In Mississippi, if you employ a group of 26 or more automobiles for business purposes, you qualify for commercial auto insurance. This includes the automobiles your employees use to conduct business affairs. Mississippi requires fleet owners to carry bodily injury and property damage coverage. Each registered vehicle used in commercial affairs must have the same minimum levels of coverage individual motorists must have. This coverage is $25,000 to cover bodily injuries suffered by one individual, $50,000 to cover bodily injuries suffered by all individuals, and $10,000 to cover any damage to property. Since the purchase of commercial auto insurance is typically a business expense, it is tax-deductible.
